American runner Nick Symmonds is outspoken in his displeasure with the Olympic rule that prohibits athletes from promoting personal sponsors.
On his left biceps, Symmonds has a temporary tattoo of the Twitter handle of a Milwaukee advertising agency that sponsored him this season.
During the games, he covers it with a piece of white tape, which ironically draws even more attention to the issue.
"I'm just one of the most annoying people to champion the cause. People tell me to quiet down and I don't necessarily listen," he said.
